Okay, I’m still early in this 30 DAYS OF FEAR thing, but one of my chief goals is to start forming healthy habits. I’m exercising everyday, writing everyday, going to the library everyday and applying for jobs everyday.
Still, I feel like I’d better amp up my game. I’m coasting through my fear instead of confronting it
So tomorrow I will specifically do something I’ve never done before: go to a board game group from meet-up.org.
I also realized that in my writing, I’m afraid of specifics. With this latest writing project, my idea was to have it in a vague castle somewhere in a vague faraway land with vague people looking for help. So as part of this 30 days of fear, I will make this new play as specific as possible. More details will come later.
On a side note, saw the Roman Polanski Film Carnage, and it essentially lacked a plot. The trailer makes it look interesting. Heck, it even looks like a normal movie! But all the movie is all these actors I like yelling at each other between cellphone calls WITH NO PLOT-LINE TO SPEAK OF. And then the movie just stops. That’s it.
I normally like everyone involved in this movie like Polanski, Waltz, Reilly, Foster, and Winslet, but everything was just blah and really, really boring. It’s hard to convey how tedious this movie actually was. So don’t see it.
Until next time…
Excelsior!
